It’s a misconception that working out or running on the treadmill for long intervals, for days together can lead to weight loss. Actually weight loss happens only when you keep challenging your muscles by changing your workout routine from time to time. Even a 10mins short workout can work wonders for you. Nowadays a new form of fitness regime called HIIT ie High Intensity Interval training is becoming very popular, especially with the corporate sector.
Due to long working hours, inability to hit the gym or indulge in any form of fitness is the major constraint with many of the working people. Since they spend most of their time in office, it helps if they can do their work out in the office itself. HIIT helps here as it can be done in short intervals of time, anywhere and is highly effective and interesting. It consists of a series of exercises that keep challenging the heart rate and muscles with every change of exercise.
